Amrita’s Study Abroad Program offers an exceptional opportunity for students to experience a different style of teaching and immerse themselves in a new culture. This program allows students to broaden their academic and personal horizons by discovering new perspectives and exploring diverse study and career opportunities abroad. Participants can enroll in a program available at the host university for two to three semesters at prestigious universities, gaining valuable international exposure and enhancing their educational journey.
The Study Abroad Program at Amrita provides numerous advantages that significantly benefit students. By studying at esteemed international institutions, students have the chance to collaborate with top-notch professors and researchers, enriching their academic experience. This exposure not only enhances their learning but also opens doors to pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. degree. Furthermore, the program equips students with a global perspective, making them more competitive in the job market and providing them with the skills and insights needed to excel in their future careers.

Students can enroll in any engineering program from one quarter upto three quarter, at the following universities:

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS (UC DAVIS), USA
Applicable to All UG Engineering, Biotechnology, All Arts and Science (third / final year students)
UC Davis is one of the top 10 public universities in the U.S. and is 85th in the world, as per QS World Rankings. The India Research Internship and Global Study Program provide students the opportunity to enroll in regular courses in a wide variety of fields. The program is open to students at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Note: Students are required to pay the program tuition fees, room and board fees, and all travel expenses.
UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN DIEGO, (UCSD), USA
Applicable to All UG Engineering, Biotechnology, All Arts and Science (third / final year students)
UC San Diego is the seventh oldest of the 10 University of California campuses and one of the top public research universities in the United States. It offers over 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. UCSD is a student-centered, research-focused, service-oriented public institution that is ranked as one of the top 15 research universities in the world.
