Research

Underwater passive acoustics – Working on a project for developing efficient system to avoid collisions between water vessels using passive acoustics. Currently doing study on techniques for optimizing the vessel detection range. Main focus is on vessel detection and localization.

Water Vessel Signature Classification – Presently doing literature review on the
existing ship signature classification techniques. Main focus is on classifying the
vessels based on size using the vessel signature.

Wireless sensor networks for coastal monitoring – Proposed sensor network architecture for monitoring the coastal erosion and algal bloom in the coastal areas of Kerala. Main focus was on developing efficient clustering and data aggregation algorithms.
