Bio

Dr. T. S. Girishkumar currently serves as Visiting Faculty in Amrita Darshanam – International Centre for Spiritual Studies (ICSS), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus. He is currently a member of the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR). He was formerly a Professor at the Department of Philosophy, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He received his Ph.D. degree in Philosophy at North Eastern Hill University.

Specialized in Social and Political Philosophy, Indian Epistemology, and Indian Culture and Religion, etc., Dr. Girishkumar has over 33 years of experience teaching postgraduate and undergraduate students. His research has spanned over 27 years and he has been guiding over 12 Ph.D. and 35 M.Phil students on various research areas for 21 years. He has authored 6 books, published 21 papers in international and national journals, and published 5 full conference proceedings over three decades.
