Prof. Sumeet Bahl is the Director of Technology Commercialization/Research Collaborations at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and also serves as a Professor of Practice at the School of Business. He is focused on bringing real-life industry perspectives to the classroom and transforming the teaching experience into an experiential learning journey.
In his work heading Research collaborations, Prof Bahl is focused on developing synergistic collaborations between Amrita and eminent institutions and corporations, and his team’s work has resulted in the signing and initiation of MOUs with several industry and Research organizations for faculty and project partnerships.
He is also a Strategic Advisor to technology startups including Tranquility Big Data and IOT systems and Traboda CyberLabs. He has also worked as a mentor with various other startups – his efforts around product commercialization start with the vetting of commercial/business plans to working with the startup teams to fine-tune their products and services to become market ready, and then drive marketing and implementation strategy to takes these products to market.
In a parallel role, Mr. Bahl leads Global Product and Services Strategy at Amrita Technologies, a leader in Healthcare Informatics.
