Bio

Dr. Sumathi S is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd.) in the Department of ECE at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus. With 17 years of teaching experience in engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru, along with 2 years of industry experience and 5 years of research experience, she has developed expertise in teaching subjects such as analog, digital, and wireless communication, signal processing, and machine learning. Her primary research interests include future-generation wireless networks, 5G NR waveforms (NOMA, FOFDM, FBMC), MIMO techniques, millimeter-wave communication, resource allocation and optimization in multi-user mobile communication, and machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
