Bio

Dr. Sourabh Pahuja is a DM Pulmonary, Critical care and Sleep medicine-trained doctor from India’s most prestigious and best medical institute All India institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His primary education (MBBS) is from one of the largest medical school, GMC Nagpur. He did his MD Respiratory Medicine from GSVM Medical College Kanpur where he stood first in university exams. He has worked for 3 years in the Respiratory Care Unit (RCU) and Pulmonary ward at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi. At AIIMS, New Delhi he has been trained in highly advanced pulmonology aspects like respiratory critical care (including ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane oxygenator) HFNC (High Flow Nasal Cannula), NAVA(neutrally adjusted ventilatory assist) and interventional pulmonology services like flexible bronchoscopiesincluding Bronchoalveolar Lavage (BAL), Endobronchial Biopsy(EBBx), Conventional Transbronchial needle aspiration (cTBNA) and Transbronchial Lung Biopsies(TBLB), Linear and radial EBUS guided TBNA and biopsy as well as Rigid bronchoscopic guided Stent placement, Debulking, Balloon dilatation and Transbronchial Lung Cryobiospy (TBLC) and diagnostic as well as therapeutic Thoracoscopic procedures. He has a keen research interest and has more than 20 publications. His areas of interest include interventional pulmonology, lung cancer, lung transplant and respiratory critical care services.
