Bio

Dr. Shomeshwar Singh qualified and trained in India (1990-99) and the United Kingdom (2000-08).
Dr Singh is a Senior Consultant in Ear, Nose, Throat and Hearing (Cochlear) implants with more than 25 years of experience. He has a very large series of cochlear implant patients with published excellent outcomes.Dr Singh heads one of the largest cochlear implant programs in India. He is an established Trainer / Mentor Surgeon for new Cochlear Implant Programs and runs the ACIC – an annual surgical instruction course in Cochlear Implant surgery.Dr Singh is the inventor of See Sound Live (SSL) – a novel assistive technology empowering the deaf to speak. SSL is currently under trials in India, UK and USA. He was awarded several grants and the prestigious BIRAC INNOVATOR AWARD for his research by the Vice President of India in 2020.
