Dr. Sharath Padmanabhan joined the department of Cardiac Anaesthesia in 2022. Since then, he has been part of a team of specialists providing advanced care to children with complex congenital heart diseases.
He completed his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha, Maharashtra followed by DNB Anaesthesiology from Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences, Kozhikode. He worked as a staff anaesthesiologist under the hospital development society in the department of cardiac surgery at Government Medical College, Kozhikode for four years. A keen interest in the perioperative care of congenital heart disease led him to pursue his D.M degree in Cardiac Anaesthesiology from Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bangalore before joining AIMS, Kochi as an Assistant Professor.
