Bio

Sanju Kaladharan is an accomplished professional with interdisciplinary expertise in pharmacy, management, and sustainability. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai, India. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Management at Amrita School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi, focusing on sustainable medicine consumption, patient and consumer behavior, medical neoliberalism, consumer responsibilization, and the circular economy. Her unique academic and professional background enables her to explore the intersection of pharmaceutical management, marketing, and sustainable development.

Before her current assignment, she was a full-time PhD scholar (Senior Research Fellow under the University Grants Commission- Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship For Single Girl Child) at Amrita School of Business, Kochi until December 2024, and she is now continuing her PhD in a part-time mode. Before embarking on her PhD journey, she accumulated two years of administrative experience in a business firm in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, over two years of graduate and post-graduate teaching and research experience at a leading college in Coimbatore, India, and six months of experience in healthcare administration role.

Sanju’s teaching and research approach is shaped by a passion for inquiry. She envisions higher education as a process of collaborative learning, where students and educators engage as equals in knowledge creation. Looking ahead, she aims to contribute meaningfully to sustainable Healthcare by bridging the gap between research and practice. Her vision is to translate sustainability frameworks into tangible solutions, fostering positive changes for a healthier and more sustainable future.
