Dr. Parvathy S. is currently associated as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. Her research areas and projects are in the field of the following areas:

  • Design and development of Hybrid charging station and its penetration in power systems
  • Development of On-Board Chargers and Off-Board Chargers
  • Hybrid power generation and optimised scheduling
  • Development and control of power converters for the Electric Vehicle application
  • Machine learning approach for the control of power converters
  • Integration of FACTS devices in power systems for power flow control and power quality improvement

She received the B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from M.G University, Kerala, 2007 and M.Tech Degree in Power Electronics from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and gained University Rank Holder position in 2010. She joined Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the year 2010 and has produced 25 articles in Scopus and SCI-indexed international journals and international conferences to her credit. She had received Chancellors Publication Excellence Award – Amrita Innovation and Research Awards (AIRA)2020, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
