Bio

At the Amrita School of Physical Sciences at Amritapuri, Dr. Rakhesh V is an Associate Professor in the Physics Department. Dr. Rakhesh V earned an MSc in Physics from the University of Kerala’s Department of Physics. “Effect of intrinsic and extrinsic defects on the Optical and Electrical properties of Zinc Oxide films deposited by Spray Pyrolysis and DC Sputtering” was the title of his 2011 PhD thesis, which he completed at the same university. He is currently employing Density Functional Theory and Molecular Dynamics to work on solid electrolyte for batteries and tailored medicine administration. Additionally, he is interested in both theoretical and practical research on the creation of metal oxide films and nanomaterials for use in photovoltaics’ active layer, hole transport layer, and electron transport layer.
