Dr. Prashant Chandra graduated from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University with a B. Pharm in 2007 and a Pharm D. (PB) in 2013, respectively. In addition, he earned an MS in Consciousness Studies from the Bhaktibedanta Institute, a BITS – Pilani affiliate, in 2010. In both teaching and research, he has worked for more than five years.
From Manipal Academy of Higher Education, he received his Ph. D. (ICMR-SRF) in 2023. His Ph. D. thesis was titled “Study to evaluate the implications of cost burden on antimicrobial resistance using data analytics techniques.”
Machine learning (prediction model development) and infectious diseases are his areas of expertise. In addition to winning best oral presentation awards, he has published manuscripts (original and reviews) in a number of journals with the Scopus index during his Ph. D.
