Bio

Dr. Pooja Kenchetty P. joined as an Assistant Professor on March 3, 2022, in the Department of ECE, at School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru. She holds the degree of Ph. D. (2017-2020) in the domain of Nano Bioelectronics from Ritsumeikan University, Japan. She has bagged the Silver Medal during her M. Tech. (Digital Electronics and Communication) from NMAMIT, NITTE. She received the JASSO Fellowship 2015 towards the internship carried out at Japan during her M. Tech. studies and also Monbukagakusho Scholarship 2017-2020 during her Ph. D. program.

Her research interest areas are Wireless Communication, Bio-sensors and Wearable Electronics. She likes working for causes that have societal impact, especially in healthcare applications. She also possess a special interest in cross-culture studies.
