Dr. Rangasami P. completed undergraduate degree in History and postgraduate in Social Work from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore.
He also pursued Bachelor of Law from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore.
Dr. Rangasami did Ph. D. in Social Sciences from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His doctoral thesis work was Participative Management as a Job Design Strategy.
He is the member of Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) in Coimbatore District, appointed by Department of Social Defence, Chennai for a period of three years since May 2012.
Prior to joining Amrita, Dr. Rangasami served as Lecturer and Head in Sree Narayana Guru College, Coimbatore and as NGO Consultant in Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society, Chennai.
Currently he is also involved in project titled, District Need Assessment of Child Protection funded by District Child Protection Unit, Coimbatore and Karur.
He is also the University NSS Program Coordinator and Red Ribbon Club Coordinator since 2010.
