Bio

Dr. Neethu Puthalon Kunnath is a highly qualified and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a specialization in Gynaecological Oncology. With a strong educational background and extensive training, Dr Neethu has acquired a range of skills and expertise in the field.

She has completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Master of Surgery in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Government medical college, Calicut. She has also obtained the prestigious MRCOG qualification in 2012.After a successful career as a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology for 10 years, she acquired her MCh in gynaecological Oncology from Acharya Harihar Post graduate Institute of Cancer, Cuttack, Odisha, being one of the pioneer centres of gynaecological oncology in the country. She has a diploma in Minimal invasive surgery from the Keil school in Germany. She is a certified gynaecological oncologist from the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology. She is also a certified Robotic surgeon. Her expertise includes HIPEC and PIPAC treatments.

Dr Neethu has worked in various esteemed institutions, including government tertiary care institutes and regional cancer centres. Her experience includes evaluating, admitting, and providing comprehensive care to gynaecological oncology patients. She has also been actively involved in clinical training of postgraduate medical students and conducting research projects in the field.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Neethu has attended several training courses and workshops to enhance her skills. She has expertise in areas such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and gynaecological endoscopy. Dr Neethu is a member of professional organizations, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the International Gynaecologic Cancer Society, ESGO, AGRS etc

Dr Neethu has a passion for teaching and has been involved in both formal and informal teaching activities throughout her career. She has conducted training sessions and seminars for fellow professionals and has experience in mentoring and guiding postgraduate students.

With a strong commitment to research, Dr Neethu has been actively involved in various research projects related to gynaecological oncology. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at national and international conferences.

Dr Neethu’s dedication to providing high-quality care and her continuous pursuit of knowledge and skills make her a valuable asset in the field of Gynaecological oncology.
