Bio

Dr. Lakshmanan S A is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai, India. He completed his B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from University of Madras M.E in Power Electronics & Drives from College of Engineering Guindy campus, Anna University-Chennai. He received his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Mandi in the area of Power Electronics. He also served as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) Bangalore.He is recipient of Ministry Power Research Fellowship funded by Central Power Research Institute Bangalore and HTRA fellowship for pursuing Ph.D program at IIT Mandi. He has published many research papers in journals and conferencesand also he has rich experience in curriculum development, enhancement of new research labs and different accreditation process. His research area includes Control of Power Electronic Converters, Smart Grid & Energy Management, AI techniques and Advanced Signal Processing applications.
