Bio

Dr. Georg Gutjahr is an Assistant Professor at AmritaCREATE. His research focus is in Data Science with a focus on Health Analytics. He has a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Vienna, Austria. Prior to joining Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, he was a postdoc for 6 years at the University of Bremen, Germany. His research interests include Adaptive Statistical Methods, Computational Statistics, and Multiple-Testing Procedures. In the current semester, he is teaching courses on Biostatistics, Mathematical Statistics, and Machine Learning.
