Bio

Dr. Gaurav Khanna is a renowned histopathologist with keen interest in the field of Oncopathology, Neuropathology and Hepatopathology. He is an alumnus of one of the oldest Medical college of the country “Government Medical college, Amritsar”. He has been trained in the Country’s most prestigious institute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences where he served the department of Histopathology as a Senior Resident and worked with his mentors who are stalwarts in their fields and is following their foot steps. He feels proud to be the student of Dr. M.C Sharma and Dr. K.S Chahal. Following his senior residency at AIIMS New Delhi, he also completed his fellowship in hepatopathology from India’s only Liver Dedicated institute, “Institute of Liver and Biliary sciences”.

  • Best poster award-Epithelioid Glioblastoma-a series of seven cases of recently described entity, at 32nd annual conference of IAPM- Delhi chapter, 2017.
  • Invited as guest Faculty in EBUS hands on workshop endorsed by Indian Chest Society Guest Faculty as speaker in CME “Updates in surgical Pathology-2019” at GMC Amritsar.
  • Delivered lecture as faculty in SRL Medtalk on “Approach to Liver Biopsy-2019”.
  • Delivered lecture as faculty in SRL Medtalk on “Role of IHC in 2021 updated classification of endometrioid carcinoma”
