Faculty Bio

Dr. Vishnu Prabhu currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.

He pursued his Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at Loyola college, Chennai. He obtained his PhD from VIT University, Vellore in 2017. He has been an intern for UN Human Settlement Programme – Sustain Project, Chennai and was associated as a Project Assistant in Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Chennai. He has a total experience of close to 5 years.

He was elected as a member in European Centre for Research Training and Development, Kent, UK in the year 2015. He is a reviewer for the global media journal, USA. His research interests include corporate communication, advertisement and content writing and soft skills training. He has 15 publications in peer reviewed journals.

He has received several awards such as Best Outgoing student of the year award (2010) at Loyola College, Best Paper Award (2015) and Research Award (2016) from VIT University and Leadership award from Sri Narayani Hospital and Resaerch Centre, Nellore.
