Dr. Sreelekshmi R. currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Department of Kayachikitsa, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri. She completed BAMS from Amrita School of Ayurveda in the year 2010 and pursued Post graduation from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram, in the year 2016. She has 2 years of experience working as a Research Fellow on a project under the Department of Kayachikitsa, Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram, sponsored by the Department of Ayush, Government of Kerala. She also worked as a Specialist Medical Officer in Manasikarogyam project at Government Ayurveda Hospital, Nedumangad. She has conducted awareness classes for health workers and in schools as a part of the project. She has presented a paper on her dissertation topic ‘Effect of Laksha Arjuna Guggulu on Osteoporosis’at Vajra-2016, International Seminar on Lifestyle Disorders.
