Bio

Dr. Sreedevi R. Mohan currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Department of Sciences, School of Physical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi. She is a member of the Board of Studies for five-year Integrated MSc. Physics programs at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus.

Dr. Sreedevi R. Mohan received her Ph. D. in Physics from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, Tamil Nadu. She has done her Integrated MSc. in Physics from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus. She has around 3 years of experience in teaching, and 7 years in research.

Her area of research includes Gate Dielectrics, Thin Film Transistors, Liquid Crystals, Supercapacitors, Polymer Nanocomposite Dielectrics, Corrosion and Wear Resistant Coatings.

She has around three years of experience in teaching. Her post Ph.D. teaching experience is one and a half years, during which she served as Assistant Professor (Guest) at T. K. M. College of Engineering, Kollam (Aug 2019 – May 2020), and as Assistant Professor (Guest) at T. K. M. College of Arts and Sciences, Kollam (Oct 2021 – March 2022). Currently, She work as Assistant Professor/ Chairperson, Department of Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi Campus, focusing on teaching and research (May 2022 – till date).

She has handled classes for Engineering students of various streams, for BSc and MSc Physics students. Also guided and managed Physics laboratory experiments for engineering students and undergraduate physics students.
