Bio

Dr. Shiva Pratap Gopakumar is currently an Associate Professor with the Amrita School for Sustainable Futures, Amritapuri campus.

He is primarily data scientist with over 10 years’ experience using predictive modelling, data processing, and data mining algorithms in commercial product development environments and academic research environments. His research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Feature selection methods and Bayesian Optimisation. Dr. Shiva has over 15 research articles to his credit, published in reputed high impact conferences as Neural Information Processing Systems, PAKDD and journals such as Journal of Medical Internet Research, Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics.
