Bio

Dr. R. Ishwariya currently serves as an  Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd.) at the Department of Mathematics, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai campus.

Dr. R. Ishwariya completed her B. Sc. degree in Mathematics from Vivekanandha College, Namakkal (2012), M. Sc. degree in Mathematics from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli (2014). She cleared GATE (2014) and also passed the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) for Lectureship (2016). She received her Ph. D. in Mathematics from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli (2020). Her research mainly focuses on Singularly Perturbed Differential Equations, Numerical Methods, Mathematical Modelling.

She has over 5 years of experience in the field of teaching and 5 years of experience in research. She has published 2 research articles in reputed international journals and a book chapter in Springer Proceedings. She was invited as a resource person in many webinars, workshops, guest lectures and Faculty Development Programs in various institutions. She also organized many webinars.

She is recognized and honoured with University Rank in B. Sc. by Periyar University and awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship by UGC for pursuing Ph. D. She has also done a Summer Internship at IIT Madras (2013).
