Bio

Dr. M. Ajithkumar serves as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Science and Humanities, School of Engineering, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics (Biofluid Dynamics) from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, where his doctoral research, titled “Heat and Mass Transfer Analysis on Peristaltic Transport of Hydromagnetic Nanofluids Through Porous Flexible Channels,” made significant contributions to the understanding of complex fluid dynamics. He also earned his Master’s and bachelor’s degrees in mathematics from Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, achieving the prestigious “Late Prof. Rajkumar Gold Medal” for securing the top rank in his undergraduate program.

Dr. Ajithkumar brings over 3.5 years of robust academic and research experience to his role, marked by a keen focus on interdisciplinary exploration. His research interests bridge the domains of fluid dynamics, Artificial Neural Networks, and the mathematical modeling of biofluids and industrial fluids, with applications in diverse flow configurations. He has authored 21 high-impact research articles in internationally reputed journals and has actively participated in more than 30 professional events, including presenting papers at 7 academic conferences.

A passionate educator and dedicated scholar, Dr. Ajithkumar has consistently demonstrated strong leadership by successfully organizing and coordinating academic and professional events.
