Dr. K. Ashwini currently serves as the Assistant Professor, in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai.

Dr. K. Ashwini, has 2 years of teaching experience and 5 years of research experience. She earned her PhD degree in Compressive sensing (Image compression and encryption) under the faculty of information and communication engineering, Anna University, Chennai. Her core research areas include Image compression, Image encryption, Stegnography, IOT and machine learning. She has guided many UG and PG projects in various domains. She is also a reviewer for Journal of Engineering Science and Technology, Taylor university. She is a life time member of IAENG and IETE professional bodies.
