Bio

Dr. Dev Kunwar Singh Chauhan currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering,  School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.

He earned his Ph.D. in Robotics from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, where his research focused on the design of control algorithms for tracking spatial objects using Stewart parallel manipulators. His academic and research interests lie at the robotics, parallel manipulators, soft computing, and Machine learning. Dr. Chauhan has been actively involved in interdisciplinary projects, including wearable robotic exo-frames for load support (sponsored by DRDO) and the development of robotic system for fine-featured cranial implants (sponsored by SERB). He is passionate about integrating advanced technologies such as computer vision and deep learning into robotic systems and aims to contribute to cutting-edge developments in intelligent automation and medical robotics. Moreover, He has published 3+Research Articles in Peer-reviewed International Journals (SCI, SCIE, and Scopus indexed journal) with the highest Impact Factor of 3. In addition to that, he has attended various International and National Conferences, Workshops, and Training Programs.
