  • First surgeon in the state of Kerala to perform both DALK and DSEK, the newer techniques of partial thickness corneal transplantation. Also started the first automated lamellar keratoplasty unit in Kerala, also the 7th unit in the country, to become the first surgeon in the state to start Descemet’s Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty [DSAEK], Automated Superficial & Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty.
  • Has performed more than 10,000 cataract surgeries, mainly phacoemulsification in the last 13 years.
  • Has performed close to 4,000 LASIK procedures since 2003.
  • Has performed close to 500 corneal transplants since 1999. Comfortable in different types of automated lamellar keratoplasty and partial thickness corneal transplantation.
