Dr. Athira R is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kaumarabhrithya, Amrita School of Ayurveda. She has completed B.A.M.S from Amrita School of Ayurveda and pursued MD in Kaumarabhrithya from Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram. She has started her career at Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College in the Dept. of Kaumarabhrithya and later she held the same position at Nangelil Ayurveda Medical College. She has chaired various national seminars and been resource person in various CME. She has attended many medical camps and delivered awareness classes for teachers, students, Anganwadi and Asha workers. She has presented papers in various national and international seminars. Her areas of clinical expertise include Autism, ADHD, Cerebral palsy, and other developmental disorders, respiratory and dermatological issues in children.
