Dr. Asmita is quality-focused Pulmonologist well known for her meticulous skills in the field of Pulmonary/ Respiratory Medicine. She heads the Department of Respiratory Medicine, Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi. She is well – known for her expertise in treating complex diseases like Interstitial lung diseases, sarcoidosis, pulmonary fibrosis, difficult to treat asthma, COPD, and lung cancer. She has excellent skills for doing procedures such EBUS, bronchoscopies and thoracoscopies. She is the first to open an “ILD and Sarcoidosis Clinic” in Kerala. Dr. Asmita is well known for her accuracy and quality standards for exceptional patient care and management.
