Bio

Asha K.S.Nair holds the position of Assistant Professor (Sl Grade) at Amrita Business School, Coimbatore. She did her PhD in Strategic Management and Sustainability from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) and is also UGC NET qualified in Management and brings over a decade of experience in both academia and industry.

Asha’s industry experience includes her role as a marketing specialist at Thomson Reuters in Mumbai. She was a teaching assistant at S.P. Jain Institute of Management Research (SPJIMR) in Mumbai. She also co-founded Roots2shoots Organics, an initiative to provide marketing support to organic farmers in Wayanad, Kerala. This initiative reflects her deep commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and support for local farming communities.

Asha’s teaching and research emphasize the significance of competitive and corporate strategy for business growth. Her work focus on integrating sustainability into business strategy, driving transformation through critical competencies for navigating today’s rapidly evolving business environment.

Asha has been involved in voluntary work, having contributed as a sales support member for the British Heart Foundation in London and as a child educator for the AXF Foundation in Mumbai. In her personal life, Asha is passionate about animal welfare, regularly fostering stray cats and dogs.
