Bio

Dr. Akhil Mohan, working as an Assistant Professor in School of Artificial Intelligence, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore . His research interests are waste to energy, conceptual design of processes, analytical techniques, artificial Intelligence in waste management, pyrolysis and gasification, biofuels and bioenergy.

He has worked as an Institute Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay (March 2021 to July 2023). During the PhD tenure at NIT Karnataka, Surathakal, He has been worked as a Research Intern in Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University, Canberra, Australia (w.e.f. Jan 2018 to March 2018). He has collaborated with various Indian and foreign universities such as KTH Royal Institute of Technology Sweden, Australian National University Canberra, University of Ramon Lul Spain, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, IIT BHU, NIT Karnataka, NIT Rourkela etc. KTH Royal Institute of Technology Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship from Division of Process Technology, KTH Royal Institute of Technology Sweden, Stockholm (QS ranking 2023 – 44th ) for two years.
