Bio

Dr. Ajmal Nassar currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, Amrita School of Pharmacy. He completed his Ph.D. (Doctorate) from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Karnataka, where his research, supported by a CSIR-NET scholarship, focused on neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration from 2019 to 2024. His work in these areas has been recognized through several publications in reputable journals. Dr. Nassar holds a B.Pharm degree from Government Medical College Kottayam and an MS.Pharm in Pharmacology and Toxicology from NIPER Mohali. His strong academic background is further demonstrated by his top ranks in competitive exams, including GPAT, NIPER JEE, and the CSIR-UGC NET JRF and Lectureship.
