The department of Computer Science and Engineering and CSI Student Branch of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus organized a workshop on Computer Vision for Medical Imaging on December 14, 2015. Around 50 faculty members and PG students from various colleges attended the workshop. The resource person was Dr. Prabath Singh, Professor and Head of the Department, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences Super-specialty hospital, Kochi. The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
