Amrita College of Nursing conducted an International Webinar series on the topic “Viability of Virtual Examination in Nursing – An Introspection (Part I and II). Part I of the webinar was conducted on October 9, 2020, from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. The subthemes of the webinar were psychological preparation of teachers and students for online examination and theory examination: Redesigning through virtual platform – Discussion with experts. The webinar was conducted using zoom platform. There were 290 participants from all over the world. The resource persons were Dr. Malini R. (Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Union Christian College, Aluva, Kerala), Dr. Mahadevan S. (Dy. Dean, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu) and Prof. Sreevalsan M. (HOD, Department of ICTS, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu). The highlight of the webinar was the different methods of conducting virtual theory examination. Feedback of the participants was collected and depicts that the webinar was informative.
