Embedded Systems is an exponentially growing field with applications in almost every field like automotive, biomedical, smart grid, robotics, disaster management. Each of these domains pose several challenges like cost, safety, speed to name a few. Several techniques exist for posing these challenges. One of the recent trends is the self-driving car which integrates embedded and AI for its implementation.
he industry expectations and prospects in this vast domain will also be discussed.
Dr. Supriya P. joined Amrita School of Engineering in the year 1996. She did her B. E. from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore and M. S. in Electronics & Control from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. She did her Ph. D. on Application of Blind Signal Processing Techniques to Power System Network from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. She has ten years of teaching experience in postgraduate programs and eighteen years in undergraduate programs.
