The Department of Mass Communication, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, organized a two-day residential workshop on Acting from December 20-21, 2019.

The workshop was aimed at helping the students understand the intricacies of acting, including the mind-body coordination that is essential for a budding actor. About 50 students were selected to participate in the workshop. Emil Madhavi (Acting Trainer and Script Writer), Dr. Nikhil Das (Faculty, Sri Kerala Varma College, Thrissur) and Rajesh Monji (Assistant Professor, MES Mampad College) gave in-depth presentations on various aspects of acting, scriptwriting, and theatre-related activities. A drama was also presented. Certificates were distributed to participants.
