Paul Mathew, founder and facilitator of Corporate Theatre – Theatre-based Experiential Learning for Leadership & Team Effectiveness, trained the MBA students of the Department of Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, on December 11, 2019. The learning from these sessions was in topics like communication, collaboration, trust, delegation, creativity, innovation, bonding and integration. Students learned about accepting new challenges with new teams, severe time constraints, severe resource constraints etc. giving best of their capabilities and engaging themselves completely to the activities.
During the process, students learned to instantly merge into new teams, sharing their own views/ideas without hesitation, converting pressure into celebrations and collaborating, coordinating among the teams efficiently.

Paul worked in Godrej for 21 years from 1981 to 2002, in Sales of Office Automation and Communication Products. From 1994 to 2002, he was the Regional Manager (South India) for the Prima Division. Before Godrej, he worked for a year in Avery India, as a Sales Executive. Paul was commissioned into the Indian Army in 1972. He resigned as a Captain in 1977, intending to take up a full-time theatre career.
