The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Amrita College of Nursing, observed World Diabetes Day 2020 on November 12,2020 from 3.15pm to 4.30 pm. The event was hosted by Second Year B.Sc Nursing students by using Zoom platform, 186 participants were present including faculty and students.

Highlights of the Program

• Revealing the Theme – ‘The Nurse and Diabetes’
• Lived in experiences of patients with Diabetes Mellitus
• Diabetes Mellitus feet care- Video presentation.

The resource person was Dr. Betty P. Kunjumon, Asst. Professor, Govt. College of Nursing, Kottayam. She revealed the theme ‘The Nurse and Diabetes’.
