Dr. Bhavani Rao interacted with the MBA students of the Department of Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, on the topic “Realizing the Rights of Women and Reinvigorating the Movement for Gender Equality- Reflection on International Women’s Day”. On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2020, Dr. Bhavani gave a beautiful insight into seeing this critical topic from an individual’s perspective instead of just the world’s perspective. Dr. Bhavani requested the students to understand their roles well in order to change this broken world into an empowered world with equality and compassion. Every little thing in this world is important and we should learn to give respect to all of them. We need to find innovative ways to create maximum impact on this world with the least amount of damage in any way. The key learning of the talk was- “only empowered men can facilitate women empowerment”.
