The Student Nurses Association (SNA AIMS Unit ) of Amrita College of Nursing celebrated International Nurses Day on May 12, 2021, at 3 PM through the virtual platform Google Meet. The theme for 2021 was “Nurses: A Voice to Lead – A Vision for Future Healthcare“. The program was organized by the third-year B.Sc Nursing (17th Batch) students.
The program started at 3 PM with prayer and the gathering was welcomed by Ms.Neeraja M. The presidential address was given by Prof. K. T. Moly, Principal, Amrita College of Nursing. The theme for the year 2021 was revealed by Ms. Athira A. of the first year B.Sc (N) “Nurses: A Voice to L:ead: ‘A Vision for Future Healthcare” followed by Panel Discussion by the faculty members of Amrita College of Nursing. A video was presented by the students of the third year B.Sc Nursing, which highlighted the tribute to all the nurses who work as frontline warriors in this era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The winners of the essay writing and cartoon drawing competitions were announced and the program came to an end by 4:45 PM with the national anthem.
