About the Institute

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary research academia accredited ‘A++’ by NAAC, ranked as one of the best research institutions in India. Call for presentations

The participants are requested to submit an abstract of their article in the suggested format to icamsc2023@am.amrita.edu.

All the submitted abstracts will be subjected to a peer review process and the corresponding author will be intimated the status of acceptance.
All the accepted papers, after successful presentation, will be considered for publication in the Scopus-indexed conference proceedings or reputed international journals after the regular peer review process as per the requirements.

Exiting cash prizes sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry, London and Association of Chemistry Teachers, Mumbai

will be awarded to the best three papers presented in each stream along with the certificates.

Interested participants are requested to prepare their articles according to the instructions given by AIP

(https://pubs.aip.org/aip/acp/pages/preppapers). Please send your article in suggested template + duly signed copyright release form + Publish Agreement for Open Access (if you are opting for open access – this option will have additional fees) + CP checklist to naveenvkulkarni@am.amrita.edu

After the submission of the article, authors are requested to pay Rs. 10,000/per article towards the Article Processing Charges (APC). Articles will be processed soon after receiving the payment receipt.

Processing Charge

This APC will also grant the authors with unrestricted access to their article for the period of one year. The link to pay the APC will be sent to the corresponding author via e-mail.

Deadline – January 10, 2024

A frontline reputed journal, RSC advances (https://www.rsc.org/journals-books-databases/about-journals/rsc-advances) will also accept articles from the participants of our conference ICAMSC2023.

The selected articles will be published in a special collection edited by Dr. Naveen V. Kulkarni, Prof. Leslie Yeo and Prof. Boris Kharissov. This special edition has discounted APC of 500 pounds. The article submission, processing, review process and acceptation will be done as per the policy of RSC advances via Journal’s portal.

About the Department

The Department of Chemistry, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, started functioning at Amritapuri campus in 2002. The department enjoys the status and privilege of a well flourishing inevitable academic entity of this campus, which offers about 40 courses on advanced and applied areas of chemistry and also courses on Environmental Sciences handled by 17 expert members of faculty. The department also possesses a classical chemistry lab which has been structured with a vision of transforming it into an excellent centre for research in the frontier areas of applied chemistry and allied branches. The research lab is well equipped with various sophisticated equipments which help in carrying out research in the various frontier as well as emerging areas in chemistry.
