The decision regarding the acceptance of the abstract will be communicated after peer review by technical experts in the thematic area. Organizers are in discussions with high-quality, Scopus-indexed journals/proceedings for publication of special issues arising from the conference. Accepted abstracts presented in the conference will be eligible for submission as full-length manuscripts in the special issues. The list of journals and full paper submission date will be updated on the conference webpage and notified via email.

The department has strong focus on undergraduate and postgraduate education, along with emphasis on socially conscious research. The department has significant research strength in the design & synthesis of next generation materials (with application in energy and sustainability technologies) and process intensification.
The department faculty, along with an interdisciplinary team, set up the Center of Excellence in Advanced Materials and Green Technologies, with funding from the Ministry of Education in 2013. The center houses world-class research facilities enabling the design and development of advanced functional materials and sustainable technologies.
