The inaugural ceremony of 19th batch of B.Sc. Nursing students (2020-2021) commenced on November 23, 2020, from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM through the ZOOM platform. The program started with the class commencement for the students at 9.30 AM by Prof. Sreedevi. P. A. (Professor, Amrita College of Nursing and First Year Batch Coordinator).
The inaugural program started at 10.00 am with a prayer followed by a welcome speech by Prof. K. T. Moly, Principal, Amrita College of Nursing. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Prem Nair, Medical Director, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. Inauguration and benedictory address were done by Sampoojya Swami Poornamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math. In her speech, Prof. Anila K. P. (Professor, Amrita College of Nursing) provided an orientation to the hostel rules. The session continued with an interactive session for parents with the Principal. In the end, Ms. Sarika T. K. (Lecturer, Amrita College of Nursing) proposed the vote of thanks to all. The program came to an end with the National Anthem.
