Qualified Team for ICPC Amritapuri Regional Contest 2021

Eligibility

Students who are currently enrolled in a university are eligible. Additionally, students who got graduated in 2021 & those who are graduating in 2022 are eligible to participate for the ICPC 2021 contest.

Registration fees per team, to participate in the online round is INR 600 /-.

Steps for online contest registration

  • Each team shall have a coach. Coach is the faculty member from the same Institution/University/College.
  • Coach creates a team in the ICPC Global Site under “Asia Amritapuri First Round Online Programming Contest” Online contest.
  • Coach is expected to create a team with the official email id. Official email id means, he/she shall use the institutional email id. While creating teams, the coach shall invite the contestants and reserve.
  • A team consists of at most 3 contestants and the Team members (contestants) shall complete their profile in ICPC Global Site. It is mandatory that all the details as required in the system should be completed before the last date.
  • The team shall pay the registration fees.

How to Pay Registration Fee

The team shall pay the registration fees of INR: 600/-. This is for the entire team.

It is highly recommended to participate in the practice contest to get acquainted with the platform and clear the login issues.

Registration fees per team, to participate in the onsite round is INR. 2650 /-.

ICPC Asia Amritapuri Onsite Regional 2021

October 7, 8. to be held at Amritapuri & Bengaluru campuses.
There is no separate registration for the ICPC Asia Amritapuri Onsite Regional 2021.

Selection to the ICPC Asia Amritapuri Site Regional 2021

Total slots: 160
Amritapuri: 90; Bengaluru: 70

  1. Teams ranked 1 to 10 are selected first.
  2. Teams ranked from 11 to 30 are invited with not more than 3 teams from the same institution.
  3. Top team from each institution who solved at least one problem are invited from rank 31, are invited.
  4. Remaining slots are filled according to the rank with a cap of max 3 from same institution.

Site-wise team allocation list will be updated soon on the website.

October 6th
Accommodation starts in hostels. Contestants can arrive at hostels directly. Show your identity cards + SMS communication from Amrita at the hostels for the accommodation volunteers to allot rooms.
Dinner will be served on 6th to all the contestants.

How to get the previous year certificate?

You can login to the ICPC Global site and you can get the Certificate from the dashboard.

How much is the Registration Fee for Preliminary Contest?

You can go to the payment link and do the payment of INR. 600 /-

How can we know whether our payment is received?

Once the payment is received your status will be updated on our Google sheet and accepted on the ICPC Global site.

What is the role of reserved person? Will the reserved person get the certificate?

In case of any emergency to the team in the absence of any person the reserved can participate. Yes, the reserved person will get the certificate.

What is the role of a Coach?

How many members should be in a team? Is it mandatory to keep a reserve person?

There should be three members in a team, including reserve person four members. It is not mandatory to keep a reserve person.

What is the selection process for the Onsite Contest?

Based on the performance of the online round, each regional site will decide on the number of teams to be invited for the on-site round.

What is the last date for Registration of Preliminary Round?

Last date of Payment: August 19th,2022
