Sarbani has been dedicated to special education for 27 years, founding the Bubbles Centre for Autism in Bangalore, which collaborates with mainstream schools for inclusive learning. She also started “Pragati Towards Livelihood,” a vocational training center for young adults with autism. Sarbani has strengthened NGOs in rural Karnataka and West Bengal through the “Aadhar / Ek Prayas” project. She holds various certifications, including Structured Teaching, PECS, PEERS, and RDI, and is a certified PEERS practitioner and Social Role Valorization graduate. Sarbani received the Dr. Amarnath Annual Award for Inclusion and the “Unsung Hero Award” from Rotary Bangalore Abilities. She serves on the Scientific Advisory Committee of SCTIMST and the advisory boards of five organizations.
