Sajinie Gnanatheeban is a professional with over three decades of experience in the field of special education and is serving as the Principal and Manager at Baldwin Opportunity School, Bangalore. Driven by her vision, she continues to empower her students, guiding them towards independence and responsibility within the community. She works to secure vocational opportunities ensuring each child can lead a fulfilling life. She leads her team with passion and expertise. 

Sajinie’s contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the ‘Exemplary Service Award for Teaching Intellectually Challenged Children’ from Rotary Club Rajajinagar, Bangalore. She has also been honoured as a ‘Distinguished Wipro Applying Thought Teacher’ for using diverse strategies in teaching special needs children, and has received ‘Best Teacher Award’ from Rotary Club, Indiranagar, Bangalore in appreciation of her dedication. 

Outside her professional endeavours, Sajinie enjoys singing, music, gardening, cooking, movies and taking care of the Indies in her neighbourhood. 

Sajinie actively contributes to various organisations, serving as a Trustee at the Promise Foundation and as a member of the International Social Role Valorization Association. She is also certified for Direct Support Practioner’s training from Key Stone India, playing a vital role in training and mentorship.
