Dr. Rajeev Sreenivasa holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, an M.Tech. in Structural Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Genetic Algorithms from IIT Madras. He was a faculty member at IIT Madras from 1983 to 1996, worked as a technology leader in IT product development from 1997 to 2006, and ran his own digital media startup from 2006 to 2018. Dr. Sreenivasa has published over 25 research papers and co-authored two books. As a trustee of Yash Charitable Trust, he helped establish Café Arpan, run by persons with developmental disabilities, and conducts music therapy sessions, creating a music band called Tarang. He provides horticultural therapy using hydroponics and led rehabilitation activities and caregiver training programs for Nish-Chintha.
