Mukund Pant, a talented young adult from Lucknow, embodies resilience and creativity despite facing challenges with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. His passion for music led him to master the Dholak, showcasing his innate rhythmic sense. Additionally, Mukund produced a touching video memoir dedicated to his late grandmother, Mrs. Janki Devi Pant.
Transitioning from mainstream schooling to PYSSUM, an institution supporting individuals with disabilities, Mukund found his niche. Overcoming obstacles, he now contributes to PYSSUM’s Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Centre as an actor, front office assistant, and salesperson, all while actively engaging in community activities. Mukund’s story is a testament to his determination and the supportive environment of PYSSUM, where he thrives and inspires others.
