  • At the Individual Level: Developing personal skills, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence to address biases and foster inclusivity.
  • At the Institutional Level: Strengthening organizational policies, frameworks, and practices to advance gender equity.

  • Understand how unconscious biases shape workplace behaviors and decisions.
  • Explore strategies to create inclusive teams and decision-making processes.
  • Apply systems-thinking approaches to align personal and organizational practices with GoI’s gender-equity targets.

Workplace Dynamics and Collaboration

  • Enhance communication and interpersonal relationships within teams.
  • Address the interplay of culture and gender to foster mutual respect and inclusivity among co-workers.
  • Resolve workplace conflicts constructively, using culturally informed, collaborative approaches.

Building Emotional Resilience for Workplace Challenges

  • Identify and address workplace stressors, including stereotypes and systemic barriers.
  • Leverage emotional intelligence and tools like the Johari Window to improve self-awareness and collaboration.
  • Build resilience and empathy to navigate challenging professional scenarios effectively.

Driving Organizational Change

  • Develop actionable strategies to implement gender-responsive policies in government programs.
  • Use insights from the AWESOME framework to address systemic barriers and create sustainable solutions.
  • Promote a workplace culture that prioritizes equity, collaboration, and innovation while aligning with the principles of SDG Agenda 2030

As part of the workshop, participants will also engage in specialized sessions on topics such as collecting gender-disaggregated data and applying a systems approach to address workplace and programmatic challenges, providing concrete examples of practical applications.

  • Enhance the impact of government programs through inclusive and gender-sensitive approaches
  • Drive systemic change within their organizations by addressing interrelated cultural and workplace challenges.

This workshop not only enhances individual competencies but also supports India’s global commitments, including its leadership in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Workshop Features

  • Increased Awareness: Recognize biases and their impact on professional relationships and decision-making.
  • Practical Skills: Gain tools for fostering equity, collaboration, and inclusivity in workplace settings.
  • Enhanced Leadership: Drive organizational and systemic change aligned with national policies and SDGs.

  • SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities): Promote fair opportunities for all, irrespective of gender.
  • SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Strengthen collaborations across government sectors for equitable and sustainable development.
