Born brought up and graduated in Gonda, Lalita Pradeep did her Post Grad from LU in 1883. She started her first job in 1885 in order to made herself self reliant as not to ask for any fiancial support from parents.

In 1992, she joined State Civil services n her first posting was in Mau as Basic Education officer. In the year 2022, she retired as Addl.Director Education UP. In the field of Education, she remained a popular public servant. She worked a Director Mahila Samakhya UP, and served as OSD to Chief Secy, UP for 2 years in 2009-2010.

To bring a new curve to her career, now she is pursuing an LL.B. Along with her son, who is a PG in Law, she has formed a Law Firm. Under her Mother’s name, the mother-son duo has formed an NGO Shanti Foundation Trust that promotes empowering women thru Education and sports.

She is an avid traveler and has travelled places domestic and abroad. Mmost notable amongst all are Antarctica (southern hemisphere), Masai Mara Kenya, Kailash Mansarovar etc. She says that family and friends are the key support systems in the life.
